I loved to watch movies with my dad. As a blind man, he needed the films described to him, so from a young age I paid close attention to every frame and every detail. I became interested in big special effects movies, and I decided that when I grew up, I either wanted to build rockets or make movies. I ended up doing both.

I worked in Visual Effects, creating CGI images for feature films. I developed new software tools to create movie magic.
Me and Ron Henderson at the 2013 Sci-Tech Oscars. Ron Henderson received a Technical Achievement Award for the development of FLUX. I was a member of the FLUX development team.
Over the course of my career, I was privileged to work on three Oscar-winning software teams, across two studios:

FSIM - Water simulation system at Digital Domain
